Broadcaster Sky is trying to make its content even more ubiquitous in the U.K. through a partnership with Sainsburys. According to a report in the Telegraph, the retailer's Kensington location is adding iPad docks and speakers to its shopping carts.
Setwo Designs, which created the docking system, hints that the project's primary appeal will be to male shoppers, who want to keep up with sports scores while doing the mandatory shopping.
The Telegraph reports that the carts are also equipped with sensors that will emit a warning signal if a distracted cart-pusher is about to walk into another shopper.
