United Natural Foods taps Walmart veteran as SVP/produce

United Natural Foods Inc. has named Dorn Wenninger senior vice president of produce, according to a press release.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in the procurement, sales, marketing and operations of several packaged foods and retail companies. He most recently served as vice president perishables for Walmart Mexico where he was responsible for sourcing, buying, and product development of the fresh departments for 2,400 stores in the region as well as Walmart's owned meat processing plants. Prior to this role, he was vice president of produce and floral and vice [resident of global food sourcing for Walmart USA.
