Wal-Mart shoppers are loving rotisserie chicken, health supplements these days

Rotisserie chicken, health supplements such as tumeric and 'smart' educational-focused toys are favorites when it comes to Wal-Mart shoppers.

Garlic supplements are also a big buy as are 'smart' home devices, according to a research report commissioned by the biggest U.S. retailer.

In fact, the sale of smart thermostats and security devices has spiked 500 percent over the past two years, according to the Quid research.
