Apple is partnering with Walgreens to allow customers to earn 3% daily cash when they use the Apple Card with Apple Pay on eligible purchases, including prescription drugs, according to a press release.
The offer applies to purchases in-store at either Walgreens or Duane Reade, as well as purchases through the Walgreens app or Walgreens.com.
"We know our customers love Apple Pay and they're looking for convenient ways to shop and pay for their purchases at Walgreens," Joe Hartsig, chief merchandising officer at Walgreens, said in the release.
Apple Card, an iPhone-based credit card with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard, made its highly anticipated debut last month, offering rewards with ride sharing service Uber.
Walgreens also plans to expand the number of retail stores that carry Apple accessories, including iPhone cases, ear pods and lightning cables.
