Walmart is experiencing impacts from food inflation, calling it the "most stubborn of the categories," in relating to the company's Q4 earnings.
Walmart U.S. CEO John Furner said there is a "high level of disinflation at this point," during a call with investors, according to a Fox Business report.
While grocery prices have not eased much, some retail categories, including general merchandise, have seen less inflation impact.
Inflation in dry grocery and consumables are "stubborn, mid-double digit," Walmart Inc. CEO Doug McMillon said in the call.
