Walmart moves into the e-book business

Walmart has launched its own e-book business via a partnership with Japan's Rakuten Kobo.

Walmart customers now have over 6 million e-books to choose and will receive one audiobook a month for a monthly subscription of $9.99, according to a USA Today report.

Shoppers can access the e-book offering via a app as well as on Kobo e-readers, which will be available at Walmart locations.
