Walmart ramps up hiring for holiday season

Mega retailer Walmart aims to boost its supply chain workforce by 20,000 as it prepares for the holiday shopping season.

The hiring effort will include full- and part-time jobs, according to a CNBC report, and focus on filling roles in distribution centers, transport offices and fulfillment centers.

The average wage for a supply chain associate is $20.37 per hour, according to a Walmart blog post.
