Walmart removes free shipping minimum for Walmart+ members

Walmart is delivering an early Christmas gift to its Walmart+ membership in eliminating the $35 shipping minimum for online orders.

Members get free next-day and two-day shopping no matter what the basket tally is, though delivery from Walmart stores on products such as groceries still have the $35 minimum requirement, according to a press release

"It feels like a life hack is needed now more than ever, and Walmart+ is here to help," Janey Whiteside, chief customer officer, said in the release.

The retailer is also expanding the number of locations where members can use fuel savings to include Sam's Club fuel stations across the country.
