Walmart's Jet.com debuts same-day New York delivery

Walmart is using internal resources, specifically its e-commerce Jet.com division, for same-day delivery in New York City.

The news comes as retailers are trying to provide delivery every which way for the consumer, from locker pickups to car trunk delivery.

Jet will provide the delivery once it has a fulfillment center open in the Bronx area of New York City, according to a Bloomberg report, which noted Amazon has same-day food delivery for Prime members in New York City and Target offers same-day delivery for in-store purchases.
