'Want It' gift registry bookmarklet spans multiple online retailers

CheckedTwice, a free online Christmas gift registry, announced the availability of its "Want It!" bookmarklet, which allows users to add items to their wish lists from multiple online retailers without having to leave the site they are browsing. 

According to a press release, the "Want It!" button lets users browse any website, including Best Buy, Amazon and Target, then click once to add a product to the shopper's CheckedTwice registry. Shoppers are shown a preview of the item before it is added to the registry, and are able to manage multiple wish-lists in the process.

The company said its service offers a "Pinterest-like, visual interface that makes gift-giving simple, organized and fun."
