Washable RFID tag simplifies inventory tracking process

May 5, 2011

DAILY RFID has released a washable RFID tag to use in garments to simplify the tracking process. It is designed with two small holes in the middle to attach to clothes.

Assigned with a unique number, each RFID tag is recorded to trace the garments accurately even after multiple washings. With the sealed RFID chip inside, not only can the location of each item be tracked, additional information, such as the number of times an item has been washed, can also be tracked. Therefore, it enables efficient and accurate management of clothes.

With LF and HF frequency options, the RFID tag can be scanned within 10 centimeters read distance, and maximum up to 40 centimeters with DAILY’s RFID reader DL810. Additionally, the RFID laundry tag is waterproof, dustproof and heat-resistant. It can be reused more than 1,000 times after normal laundry processes.
