Wayfair launching 3 physical storefronts in 2022

Wayfair plans to open three brick-and-mortar stores in Massachusetts come 2022.

One will be for its Joss & Main brand and the other two will be for its AllModern brand, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The news comes on the heels of retailers still striving to rebound given two years of pandemic challenges and the increasing trend of consumers going online to shop.

The retailer has no physical stores open at this point but did launch several pop-up retail shops pre-pandemic as well as a physical store in Massachusetts. It shuttered that location at the end of 2020.
