Wedding band retailer launches sizing app to make shopping easier, more accurate

Hitched, a two-year-old wedding ring site for men, is offering customers a tool, The Ring Size App, that offers an easier and more accurate way to determine ring size no matter where a customer is located.

The iOS app lets users put their ring finger directly on an iPhone screen and then calculates the ring size, according to a press release.

The free app was developed in partnership with Radius Technologies.

"It's critical that our customers know their ring size prior to placing a home try-on order to make for a successful home try-on experience," Chris Sammons, co-founder at Hitched, said in the release. "It's our goal to eliminate each and every challenge a customer might encounter when shopping for his wedding band and our new app will play a huge part in achieving that goal."

Hitched released the beta version in January and the app has seen over 1,000 downloads with positive feedback, according to the release.

The Radius Technologies and Hitched teams will be working closely to continue developing the app in the coming months to enhance functionality and add new features," John Shea, CEO and co-founder of Radius Technologies, said in the release.
