Wegmans teams with DoorDash for super fast delivery

Wegmans Food Markets has partnered with DoorDash to offer customers delivery in under an hour's time.
The delivery option is available from all Maryland Wegmans locations. Stores in Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware and upstate New York will be available in the coming days with more stores coming soon, according to a press release.
"DoorDash has been a great partner for our Meals 2GO program, and expanding our offering to include grocery delivery allows us to meet our customers where they are," Erica Tickle, Wegmans vice president of marketing and digital growth, said in the release. "Our goal is to make meals easy and help our customers live healthier, better lives through exceptional food. Expanding our delivery network is just one way we're able to continue delivering on that mission."
The news comes just about six months after Ulta Beauty expanded its partnership with DoorDash to offer customers on-demand delivery of products from 1,350 stores.
