Wendy Jones heading up eBay’s global customer service

The online bidding platform eBay is promoting a 13-year company veteran to head up its global customer service operations.

Wendy Jones, who had been serving as senior VP global operations will now add customer service to her list of responsibilities, according to an announcement at EPR Retail News.

"Throughout the course of her career at eBay, Wendy has demonstrated extraordinary judgment, significant knowledge of our business, and a leadership style that combines urgency and deep caring about our company and culture. Wendy will ensure that the voice of the customer is front-and-center in all of our strategic decisions, and that we execute our plans with our customers as our most important priority," Devin Wenig, eBay president and CEO, said in the announcement.
