Wisconsin supermarket co-op goes digital with ordering

April 25, 2024

Willy Street Co-op, a group of cooperative supermarkets around Wisconsin's capital, has deployed digital ordering and fulfillment solutions from eGrowcery, a retail food industry e-commerce platform.

Willy Street Co-op is offering online shopping of nearly its entire product range for customer pickup or delivery, according to a press release.

"Our primary stakeholders — the cooperative's members and employees — wanted a digital solution that makes their lives easier. The eGrowcery solution delivers that and more by providing an engaging and intuitive ordering platform for our members that supports the unique needs of our cooperative markets," Ben Becker, project manager of Willy Street Co-op, said in the release.

Willy Street Co-op started in 1974 and has a production kitchen and three stores. Willy East and Willy North are in Madison, and Willy West is in Middleton.
