Amazon launches a mattress brand

Amazon is offering a line of bed-in-box foam mattresses within its AmazonBasics product line. These mattresses also qualify for free two-day shopping for Prime members.

The news is likely to jolt the already-crowded mattress market which has been reshaped by online mattress players in the past few years and Walmart's very recent foray into selling mattresses.

While the Amazon mattress just has two reviews at present, it's got a high star rating.
