Amazon is likely shoring up its fashion apparel strategy and according to Morgan Stanley it's on track to be the top U.S. apparel player this year.
The big driver is the millennial shopper who has no qualms about buying fashion on line, according to a CNBC report.
Morgan Stanley reported Amazon gained 1.5 percent market share last year and had 7.9 percent of the market in 2017. The growth means Amazon is making big strides to knock current apparel leader Walmart, which holds 8.6 percent market share, off its perch.
