Amazon has upgraded its Dash Cart, which allows customers to scan a QR code to check out and exit through a Dash Cart lane, at select Whole Foods stores, according to a Fox Business report.

The company introduced Dash Carts, which use computer vision and sensor fusion to identify the items in the cart, to Amazon Fresh stores in 2020. The carts have a screen where consumers can access Alexa to check items as they place them in the cart and view a real-time receipt. Consumers can also scan coupons and weigh produce in the cart.

The Dash Cart now will fit up to four grocery bags and have a delicates shelf and a shelf for oversized items.

Shoppers will also be able to view images of fresh items in the store on the screen and be able to type in item names rather than a four-digit code.
