In the midst of doomsday retail forecasts comes a bit of sunshine as Under Armour's brand is gaining greater appreciation by consumers.
While the athletic retailer's shares dipped by more than half in the last year, a Jefferies analyst says a new consumer survey shows the brand getting stronger, according to a New York Post report.
Analyst Randal Konik, citing a new survey of 2,000 consumers, also reports the athletic apparel segment is remaining strong noting "nearly double the respondents have purchased athletic apparel with the past 12 months" in comparison to the prior 12-month period.
