Annoushka launches e-commerce system

Jeweler partners with Tryzens to upgrade e-commerce platform using Magento Enterprise to support growth plans.

Jewelry designer, Annoushka, has launched a new website this week to underpin its plans for growth. Annoushka selected Tryzens, an e-commerce and retail solutions provider, to re-platform its e-commerce system, according to a press release. The new platform will deliver an enhanced customer experience across multiple channels, devices and global regions, the release stated.

"As a design led business we had a very clear vision of the website we wanted to create and the experience we wanted to provide to reflect the personality, warmth and preciousness of our pieces. We see it as essential that our online presence delivers an exemplary customer experience across any device, anywhere in the world that is comparable to that which our clients would receive in our physical boutiques." Louise Lyons, head of e-commerce, Annoushka, said in a statement. "We therefore required a first class web solution including state of the art merchandising, search and analytics tooling to enable us to effectively service our exponentially increasing number of international clients. The control we will have through the flexible Content Management System will allow us to incorporate the huge amount of creativity that runs through the business in to our online offering."

Tryzens provided specialist consultancy to support the re-platform, including planning, design, build, and implementation, as well as on-going hosting, support and maintenance. Annoushka stated in the release it "believes very strongly in the increasing demand for fine jewelry and luxury experiences online" creating the need to build a website that reflects the creativity of the brand.

"Luxury brands, like Annoushka, need to deliver a superior international, multi-channel, SEO-optimised and multi-device eCommerce strategy if they want to grow their businesses and take them global," Peter Youell, Magento Practice Lead, Tryzens, said in a statement. "We have designed the new platform with this ambition in mind. From the outset our focus has been on creating a design that reflects the Annoushka brand whilst improving functionality, enhancing SEO capability and enabling the site to have a responsive design that is accessible to all. We expect this solution to pay for itself in the near term and reduce the total cost of ownership for ecommerce ongoing."
