Aopen launches interactive touchscreen for kiosks

Aopen, a global electronics manufacturer of cross-platform, commercial grade products in digital signage and applied computing, has launched its next generation interactive touchscreen, the eTILE-X. The eTILE-X series is designed for use in commercial environments to upgrade interactive kiosk experiences for the self-service industry.

The eTILE-X meets test standards for shock and vibration, air flow, temperature and humidity; it is optimized for commercial applications across retail, QSR and healthcare. The series, which supports Windows 10 and Linux, will consist initially of three models: eTILE-X15, eTILE-X15 POE and eTILE-X19. The series will expand to include additional sizes, operating systems and functionalities. Additional connection ports support peripherals — including scanners, card readers, fingerprint readers and PIN devices. Its protective edge safeguards the device during installation for standalone use in harsh environments, such as industrial process or interactive road signage.
