Best Buy enhances selfie experience

HISY gadgets enhance selfie shots and group shot photography.

The HISY Wireless Smartphone Camera Remote and the HISY WING selfie stick and tripod are now available in the online store at Best Buy. Responding to the rising popularity of smartphone photography and selfies due to social media, HISY has been expanding its distribution to major online retailers, beginning with Apple online stores in December 2014, and now continuing with Best Buy, according to a company release.

"HISY is responding to consumer demand and buying habits, and we are pleased to continue expanding into online stores, such as BestBuy.com, to make our products widely available where people are shopping for the latest in tech gadgets and photography accessories," Eleanor Ahdoot, vice president of sales, said in a press release.

HISY (pronounced HIGH-see) "takes social photography beyond arm's length" as a Bluetooth-enabled wireless remote letting users take photos and video from up to ninety feet away, eliminating that unwanted "selfie arm" and the exclusion of subjects from the shot, the company said.

The HISY Wireless Camera Remote is a black handheld remote that includes a small foldable stand, holding a smartphone or comparable device, and a headphone jack, which allows HISY to be attached like a tail, according to the release. The device has an expected battery life of at least 2 years.

HISY is compatible with Apple devices (iOS 7.0 or later), including iPhone (4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6 & 6+), iPad (3rd & 4th generation), iPad Mini and iPad Air iPod and iPod Touch (5th generation or later).
