Electronics retailer Best Buy is reportedly slashing hundreds of store workers and focusing heavier on its e-commerce strategy.
The move is an effort to reduce costs, according to a New York Post report that cited the Wall Street Journal.
In a statement to the Journal the retailer said it is "evolving our stores and the experiences we offer" in response to changing consumer shopping behavior.
At the start of this year, Best Buy employed more than 90,000 workers across the U.S. and Canada.
