Best Buy to open early for new console launches

Two big new gaming consoles are on the way this month, and Best Buy is opening its stores early in anticipation of eager gamers willing to camp out for them.

Bloomberg reports that the retailer will open at 10 p.m. on Nov. 14, leading up to Sony's U.S. launch of the PS4 at midnight. It will do the same on Nov. 22, just before shoppers can buy the first units of the Xbox One.

"This is the first time we've ever done this," Chris Koller, Best Buy vice president of gaming, told Bloomberg. "Everybody will be able to come in and get everything they want to go with the console."
