More than half, 56 percent, of U.S. consumers prefer a brick and mortar shopping channel and 93 percent of customer journeys involves multiple channels, according to new research.
The Modern Consumer survey, which polled 1,000 U.S. shoppers, reveals 72 percent browse for products online before buying in a physical store and just 10 percent of shoppers mainly shop online, according to a press release.
"The research highlights that even though online and mobile are becoming increasingly popular, consumers still, for the most part, cherish the physical store and rely on the many benefits that it can offer," stated the release.
