Cambashi, a global industry analyst and market consulting firm, has released a paper describing ways that retailers are gaining a competitive advantage with the use of technical applications such as computer-aided design, product lifecycle management, and simulation and workflow management.
Titled "Maximizing the Shelf Experience for Profit," the paper describes the transition in retail based on consumers using their mobile devices to support decisions. This is driving not only the need for new products, but improved shelf planning and execution, according to the company press release.
