The Puente Hills Auto Center, a group of car dealerships east of L.A., has updated its digital billboard displays with 16mm LED technology from SNA Displays, according to a press release.

The Empire Exterior LED line was chosen for the project, which displays advertising to east and westbound lanes of the Pomona Freeway (Route 60). The project was overseen by Electra-Media, Inc. (EMI) and installed by Blake Sign Company, with funding from the City of Industry.

DOOH creative features car brands sold by dealerships in the group, including Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Land Rover, Jaguar and more.

"Puente Hills Auto Center is the perfect example of how proper upkeep every seven to 10 years can expand the lifetime of your sign indefinitely and keep your greatest advertising asset generating revenue for your business for years to come," Rod Wilson, CEO at EMI, said in the release.

"It's more important than ever for digital billboard owners, particularly those located close to busy highways, to upgrade their display technology to improve the clarity and quality of their message," Raymond Jonathan, project manager at SNA Displays, said in the release. "Whether it's a technology refresh or a new installation, we approach each job with the mindset of ensuring our client gets the most from their video display investment."
