Casino hotel taps SNA Displays for video wall refresh

The Valley View Casino and Hotel in Valley Center, California, has swapped out an LED display in its main stage bar and lounge with an upgraded video wall featuring digital display technology from SNA Displays.

The install was done by audio-visual integrator D3, Inc., and the project is geared toward enhancing the guest experience, according to a press release. The video screen will show live sports and entertainment videos.

"We were happy to partner with SNA Displays to provide our main stage bar and lounge with new, state-of-the-art LED display with brilliant technology. This new addition will enhance the guest experience and provide more crisp entertainment for our guests to enjoy," Todd Jackson, VP of IT, at Valley View Casino and Hotel, said in the release.

The LED screen comes from SNA Displays' Brilliant line and is approximately 9 feet tall by 16 feet wide and has a narrow pixel pitch of 1.9 millimeters, meaning the high-definition digital contains more than 3.5 million pixels (1,404 x 2,496).

"Valley View Casino already had the infrastructure that was needed in place, so this was an ideal retrofit project," Tony Kaiser, project manager for SNA Displays, referring to the display which was replaced, said in the release. "So, installing the permanent technology was fairly straightforward and we are very pleased with the results."
