Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, owner of 11 amusement parks across the U.S. and near Toronto, Ontario, has updated its guest-facing digital signage networks. The company selected Reflect to handle content distribution to 545 digital screens and BrightSign to provide media players, according to a press release.

Reflect used its ReflectView CMS platform to run on BrightSign's Series 4 XT media players to deliver content such as videos, text-to-win campaigns, ride wait times and advertisements. As part of the deployment, Reflect removed 120 legacy players and replaced them with a combination of BrightSign's XT244 and XT1144 media players, according to the release.

"With such a vastly distributed network, we needed media players that would withstand the rigors of year-round use. Reliability was a key consideration, which led us directly to BrightSign," Lee Summers, Reflect CEO, said in the release.

In addition, Cedar Fair can manage DOOH advertising campaigns using Reflect's AdLogic advertising platform. The platform allows content schedulers to import advertising content, which it then schedules the ads to play at the right times, based on data such as frequency, targeted audience impressions and playback totals, according to the release.
