Charlotte Russe looks to MICROS-Retail to revamp retail strategy

MICROS-Retail, a division of MICROS Systems Inc., announced a partnership with Charlotte Russe as part of the retailer's move toward an omni-channel retail system, according to a press release. 

The MICROS-Retail system addresses touchpoints such as: e-commerce, with the Open Commerce Platform; customer relationship management, with Relate; point-of-sale, with Xstore; and third party applications for social media. 

With a target demographic of millennials who shop both in-store and online, Charlotte Russe wanted a multi-channel retail solution with continuity of experience, according to the announcement.

"When searching for a best-of-breed platform for our online business, we decided to partner with MICROS-Retail because their omni-channel solution covered all of our needs," said Kim Miller, Charlotte Russe SVP of e-commerce. "MICROS-Retail's omni-channel solution will allow us to deliver strong business growth while providing a unified experience for our customers across all channels."
