Enhanced Retail Solutions announces Rolling Forecast analysis tool

Enhanced Retail Solutions, a provider of software-as-a-service retail analytic and demand planning solutions, has announced the integration of its Rolling Forecast system with Retail Synthesis, its business intelligence module.

According to the company, one of the biggest challenges any retailer faces is integrating data from different sources onto one platform from which business decisions can be made. It says this integration provides an opportunity to understand the state of one’s inventory position and find opportunities and liabilities that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Forecasts in the tool can be scheduled to automatically run in the background on a weekly basis. Once run, the key values (sales estimates, recommended buys, inventory position, etc.) are integrated into ERS’ Retail Synthesis Business Intelligence module. This enables the user to get customized, interactive views of their forecast using grids, pivot tables, comparison deltas, graphs, Google Visualizations and dashboards. Using the filtering capability, exception reports can be created and automatically emailed to users.
