First Citizens Bank has partnered with NCR Atleos to expand its ATM access to more than 2,000 Target stores, according to a press release. Its customers can use their debit cards at NCR Atleos' Allpoint ATMs, which have more than 55,000 machines across the U.S.
Customers can withdraw cash, check balances and transfer funds between linked accounts, with no fee. The Allpoint Network consists of partner banks that enable customers to utilize the ATM as if it was a bank-owned ATM.
"Supporting our customers' long-term financial well-being is at the heart of what we do, and that commitment guides how we make banking services accessible," Michael Wilson, head of Wealth and Consumer Banking at First Citizens Bank, said in the release. "The consumer banking experience needs to meet customers where they are through multiple channels, whether in-person or digitally enabled. Having in-store accessibility is a practical extension of the convenience and service our customers expect from First Citizens."
First Citizens Bank made headlines in 2023 when it acquired the failed Silicon Valley Bank, which collapsed that year. Silicon Valley Bank was later integrated into the Innovation Banking division in 2026.
