Its actual name is Access Health CT, but shoppers in New Britain, Conn., are calling it something else: An "Obamacare retail store."
Nestled in a strip mall right next to an Edible Arrangements, the store is a physical outcropping of the state's online health insurance exchange. And according to a report from Ozarks First, the store takes inspiration from the Apple Store.
"It's clean, it's open, it's bright, and as you can see it's very open for a customer to walk in and just kind of feel welcome.
"Past the greeting area, there's a screening area for informational videos on insurance, a play area for uninsured customers with toddlers and cubicles for insurance brokers."
