Blog The Dieline has runa gallery of barcodesdesigned by the firm D-Barcode, and they truly beg the question of why more brands aren't doing this. After all, every bit of real estate on a product package is an opportunity for branding and improving the customer experience. A few samples:

According to a blog post from Fast Company, D-Barcode charges $1,500 for the initial design and an annual licensing fee of $200 per code.
