Ars Technica: Big box retailers like Best Buy and Circuit City are getting into the video game market by dedicating more in-store space to gaming. Other retailers may be looking to get in on the action, while specialty retailer GameStop still owns a large chunk of the gaming retail world in the US. A new gaming franchise named Gamer Doc also wants to take a bite out of this market, and its concept is a simple one: shopping for a game should happen in an environment with the feel of a video game, not a cramped and unattractive retail store.
