Gymboree Corp. is using hybris, a provider of multichannel commerce and communication software, to enhance its e-commerce efforts and provide a cohesive multichannel shopping experience across its three brands, Gymboree, Crazy 8 and Janie and Jack.
Gymboree sought a robust multichannel commerce software solution to allow the business to rapidly implement new digital marketing and cross-channel shopping capabilities, David Strobelt, VP of IT and logistics for The Gymboree Corp., said in a company press release.
"We selected hybris based on the breadth and agility of its solution, the company's alignment with our multichannel vision, and its demonstrated ability to be rapidly implemented," he said. "We have very ambitious goals and are confident that hybris will enable us to meet them."
When selecting a provider, Storbelt said the company wanted a framework in which it could adapt in fast-changing conditions.
"Out of all the commerce platforms we looked at, we felt hybris' solution offered us the open architecture, scalability, TCO and agility to power a cross-channel shopping experience without introducing IT complexity into our organization."
