Hallmark shows signs of 'The Force'

Select Hallmark Gold Crown stores will offer in-store promotions for the celebration of May the 4th.

As Star Wars enthusiasts worldwide prepare to celebrate Star Wars Day on May the 4th, Hallmark is releasing a product line that promotes some of the most popular characters from the Star Wars movie franchise, according to a company release.

"As big fans of the Star Wars series, we love creating products with the iconic characters of the saga," Christine Taylor, of Hallmark Licensing, said in a statement. "Hallmark brings the wit and fun of the characters to life with products that provide the perfect way to connect multiple generations of Star Wars fans."

The newest products to join the Hallmark galaxy of Star Wars merchandise will highlight characters such as Chewbacca, R2D2, Boba Fett, Yoda, Darth Vader and Princess Leia. Select Hallmark Gold Crown stores will be offering in-store promotions for the celebration of May the 4th, according to the release.
