Hershey sweetens ordering process for retail partners

Retailers, such as convenience stores, that sell Hershey Company snacks and products now have an online process providing same-day ordering when a new product is launched.

The process features THE tool on the Hershey Solutions online portal, which was launched in 2018. The tool, according to a press release, will let registered retailers boost product speed to shelf with the time-saving capability provided.

"We want to see our convenience store partners continue to grow and are proud to be investing in capabilities that will help them drive trips, build baskets and ultimately maximize sales and profits," said Gwen Andrews, senior manager, sales planning C-store, The Hershey Company, in the release. "Our Hershey Solutions portal allows us to help thousands of retailers each day, providing them access to category management insights, merchandising, new product news and now online ordering."

Hershey Solutions is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, serving as go-to resource for the latest insights and promotional program offerings. It also offers retailers access to expert merchandising strategies and shopper insights, according to the release.
