Home Depot, Lowe’s retain top ranking among home improvement brands

Home Depot and Lowe's have maintained their ranking as home improvement category leaders in the Numerator Home Improvement Tracker report, attaining 28% and 18% share of consumer spend respectively.

When it comes to purchase growth trends in home improvement power tools and outdoor power equipment ranked tops, according to a press release on the report's findings.

Consumer reasons for purchasing from a specific retailer included convenience location (44.2%), best prices (41.5%) and product options/availability (34.1%).
