The Indiana Airport Authority and U.S Customs Border Protection will introduce kiosks to allow passengers arriving at the Indianapolis International Airport from international destinations to spend less time in customs processing, according to aviationpros.com.
Two global entry kiosks will be tested for two months inside an airport terminal ahead of the airport's first nonstop transatlantic flight to Paris.
Passengers can be selected for further examination when entering the United States.
Passengers can apply online for the fee-based service through the Trusted Traveler Program. Applicants pay a nonrefundable fee of $100 per person at the time of the application. Membership in the Global Entry program is good for five years.
