Japanese retailer launches New Jersey location

MUJI, a Japanese retailer, is launching a New Jersey store, located at the Westfield Garden State Plaza shopping center.

The location was chosen to reach a new demographic and is set to open Aug. 11.

"We feel that the vibrant setting of Garden State Plaza is a perfect location for us to reach the New Jersey market and test out our first store in a more suburban community," said Asako Shimazaki, president of MUJI USA.
