JC Penney takes a starring role in 'Project Runway' show

JC Penney is the newest star on the television show, "Project Runway," and will feature exclusive merchandise on the series as well as an episode called "Project Runway All Stars."

The news follows the move by JC Penney to bring Project Runway into its retail locations as a new brand partner, according to a Market Watch report.

The retailer will also sponsor a design challenge in seasons 16 and 17 of the series.
