JCPenney is hoping that shoppers are willing to forgive and forget — and return to its hallowed aisles. In a new video ad, the company admits to "mistakes" and begs former loyal shoppers to give the store another try.
"It's no secret. Recently JCPenney changed," the narrator says. "Some changes you liked, and some you didn't."
"But what matters with mistakes is what we learn," continues the voice. "We learned a very simple thing: to listen to you. To hear what you need to make your life more beautiful."
