Joann, a fabric and crafts retailer that announced earlier this month it was closing 500 stores, is now shuttering all of its locations.
The 80-year-old brand will begin going-out-of-business sales at all locations, according to a CNN report.
In January the retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protections and initially said it would keep all stores open.
It will keep its app operations as well as its online storefront and expects final sales to be completed in a "number of weeks."
"Joann leadership, our board, advisers and legal partners made every possible effort to pursue a more favorable outcome that would keep the company in business," Joann said in a statement posted on its website, according to CNN. "We are committed to working constructively with the winning bidder to ensure an orderly wind-down of operations that minimizes the impact on all our stakeholders."
