Kroger: Visa credit cards now welcome

It's safe to whip out your Visa credit card when shopping at Kroger and its family of stores. The cards are now welcome, after a seven-month ban at Kroger and a 15-month ban at Foods Co. locations, according to a KSL.com report.

The grocery chain did not indicate why it reversed its stance, taken last April. At the time a news release indicated it was about network and high interchange fees. Visa debit cards have always been accepted by the chain.
