The newest Gelson's Market, located in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles, boasts an innovative experiential shopping design aimed at elevating the customer experience.
The design, by design firm Shook Kelley, offers a social and relaxed shopping experience at the 30,460-square-food store in California, according to a press release.
"We're thrilled to showcase some of the best principles in elevating the consumer experience. Through thoughtful design, we've created a shopping experience that excites and entices consumers. We're thrilled to have helped create such a dynamic, vibrant destination for the Manhattan Beach community," said Kevin E. Kelley, AIA, principal and partner of Shook Kelley, in the release.
The store reflects the philosophy of Gelson’s Market’s progressive approach to food: a food hall-inspired experience with a lineup of a wine and tapas bar, a seafood and raw bar, made-to-order Mediterranean bowls, a roasted meat carvery offering, sandwiches, pizzas, and Gelson’s Market's-crafted deli salads and sandwiches. There is a social seating area inside and outside the store and a "Sip ‘n' Shop" program for guests as they enjoy drinks at the bar.
