Global sports retailer Lids has debuted a revamped retail concept aimed at enhancing the shopping experience with a big emphasis on personalization.
It's also expanded local and exclusive products, as well as head wear encouraging shoppers to express their individual style, according to a Forbes report.
"We've had the same look and feel for several years now," Bob Durda, president of Lids, told Forbes. "We felt it was time to upgrade so we've been working on this since August, thinking about the best way to roll this out in various markets."
The revamped concept, now part of 20 stores, includes a refreshed 'Custom Zone,' where consumers can customize items such as hats and jerseys.
