Nealy all, 91%, of U.S. consumers shopping online are influenced by loyalty programs when it comes to shopping again with a brand, and engagement with loyalty programs is happening weekly and often daily.
Those are top findings from a LoyaltyLion research report that also revealed loyalty program consumers log in nearly 11 times a month and 15% engage every day with a loyalty program.
The results reflect that loyalty is becoming part of how people manage spending, not just something they remember at checkout, according to a press release on the finding.
The survey polled 2,000 U.S. consumers. The data reveals a member now belongs to 3.16 e-commerce loyalty programs (excluding supermarkets, travel and coffee shops) and actively uses 2.77.
"Consumers love loyalty programs. They want to engage with them, they're actively looking for ways to earn rewards, and they're increasingly choosing brands based on how good that experience is," Charlie Casey, CEO of LoyaltyLion, said in the release.
