Burberry, in the wake of some tenuous financials and the resignation of its COO, is shaking up its executive ranks.
The high-tier fashion brand is naming current CEO, Christopher Bailey, as president and chief creative officer. He had been serving as chief executive officer and chief creative officer.
Marco Gobbetti is the new CEO The industry veteran most recently served as chairman and CEO of Celine. His brand development experience includes Givenchy, Moschino and Bottega Veneta.
"I am very excited Marco Gobbetti is joining us as Chief Executive Officer and as a partner to me. Marco brings incredible experience and skills in luxury and retail with him that will be invaluable to us," said Bailey in a release.
